Rhonda Sherrer called to say her daughter Brook has just been accepted onto the iBudget Waiver. She wants AFINS to spread the word with a message that things are changing. Brook will be receiving services once her needs assessment is completed.

Also, Deb Beaucaire was contacted within a week of sending in her son Brian’s personal story to start a full Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) assessment. Within a week an interviewer came to the house to conduct a Questionnaire for Situational Information (QSI) assessment. Brian is waiting to hear their final decision, but never have they come this far. The money is here and APD is trying to significantly reduce the Pre-enrollment List.

To receive step-by-step guidance through the APD process, come to the AFINS Workshop on Tuesday, July 30th from 1:30 to 4:00 at the Sumter County Clerk of Court Villages Annex, 8033 E County Road 466, Lady Lake, FL 32162.
