The Villages Squares Club and Wildwood Parks & Recreation are hosting “Square Dance Lessons for People with Disabilities”. Dave Vieira, a caller with the Village Squares, will be teaching the lessons. Two sessions are available and each session includes three weekly lessons. You can sign up for session one only, or both sessions. Session two builds upon session one so you need to complete session one to continue with session two.
Session I starts on Sunday, September 22, 2024 and ends on October 6, 2024.
Session II starts on Sunday, October, 27, 2024 and ends on November 10, 2024.
All lessons are from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Warfield Auditorium, 98 South Warfield Ave, Wildwood.
The cost is $7.00 per lesson ($21.00 per session).
You must register in advance on the Wildwood Parks & Recreation webpage. Click on the Programs & Special Events tab. Then click on the Square Dance Lessons link. To register for session 1 click on the Session I – People with Disabilities Square Dance Lessons (1757) link. To register for session 2 click on the Session II – People with Disabilities Square Dance Lessons (1758) link. A Wildwood Recreation online account is required to register for these lessons and payment is due at the time of registration.
Children 18 or younger with special needs must be accompanied by a guardian or caretaker.
