You’re invited to a special AACID meeting focused on the future of housing for adults with IDD!

The My Special Place board will share exciting updates on their mission to create local residential options for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. President Kristy Sullivan and other board members will present details about the property currently under consideration—its location, proposed housing models, and the types of support services being planned.

We’re also pleased to welcome guest speaker Cindy McClymonds, owner of At Your Service Professional Guardians. Cindy will offer real-life stories and insights about the difficult situations families often face when future care planning for their adult children or relatives with IDD is postponed—sometimes until it’s too late to handle alone.

Whether you’re a parent, guardian, advocate, or self-advocate, this is a conversation you won’t want to miss. Come learn how we can shape a more secure and supportive future—together.

This meeting will also be available via Zoom:
